JUDGING QUALIFICATIONS

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

1. Nominees must satisfy the relevant qualifications.

2. Nominees must be proposed and seconded by a member of the NEBCC

3. It is the responsibility of the proposer to verify any information given by the nominees.

4. All nominations must be delivered to the Hon. Sec.

5. After being proposed and seconded by a member of the NEBCC, nominees will only be added to the Judging List
after a simple majority vote by the Judges Sub-Committee of the N.E.B.C.C.

CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW "A1" LIST

Persons who have previously been approved by The Kennel Club to award Challenge Certificates In the breed
and have completed their first appointment and have the support of the North Of England Bearded Collie Club.

CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW "A2" LIST

Persons who fulfil all the requirements for the A3 list and who have been assessed in accordance with the
Kennel Club requirements and accepted by the Kennel Club for inclusion on an A2 list and have the support
of the North Of England Bearded Collie Club. (KC Policy)

CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW "A3" LIST (Breed Specialists)

Nominees must satisfy ALL qualifications and have the support of the North of England Bearded Collie Club.

1. Minimum of 7 years judging experience in the breed and have the support of the North Of England Bearded
Collie Club. (KC Policy)

2. To have judged a minimum of at least 150 Bearded Collie dogs present. (KC Policy)

3. To have attended a Seminar given by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer, and passed the relevant
examination on Kennel Club Regulations and Judging Procedures. (KC Policy)

4. To have attended a seminar given by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer on Conformation and Movement.
(KC Policy)

5. To have attended a Conformation and Movement "Hands-on Assessment" conducted by a Kennel Club
Accredited Trainer and passed the assessment. (KC Policy)

6. To have attended at least one breed specific seminar run in accordance with the relevant Kennel Club
Code Of Best Practice and passed an examination and/or assessment where applicable.

7. To have bred and/or owned a minimum of 3 dogs when they obtained their 1st entry in Kennel Club Stud
Book (Save in exceptional circumstances). (KC Policy)

8. To have stewarded at 12 shows. (KC Policy)

9. To have judged Breed classes at any Bearded Collie Breed Club Open show or Breed Club Supported
Entry show.

10. To have owned Bearded Collies for at least 10 years.

CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW "A3" LIST (Non Breed Specialists)

Nominees must satisfy all qualifications and have the support of the North of England Bearded Collie Club.

1. Have a minimum of 7years judging experience in any one breed (to include 5 years in this breed) and have
the support of North Of England Bearded Collie Club (KC Policy)

2 To have judged at least a minimum of 150 dogs present in this breed. (KC Policy)

3. To have been approved by the Kennel Club to award Challenge Certificates in any other breed
(KC Policy).

4 . To have stewarded for a minimum of three years and at 12 shows (KC Policy).

5. Have judged Breed classes at any Bearded Collie Breed Club Open show or Breed Club Supported Entry
show.

7. To have attended a Seminar given by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer, and passed the relevant
examination on Kennel Club Regulations and Judging Procedures.

8. To have attended a seminar given by a Kennel Club Accredited trainer on Conformation and
Movement.

9. To have attended at least one breed specific seminar run in accordance with the relevant Kennel
Club Code Of Best Practice and passed an examination and/or assessment where applicable.

10. To have bred and/or owned a minimum of 3 dogs when they obtained their 1st entry in Kennel Club Stud
Book (Save in exceptional circumstances).

OPEN SHOW "B" LIST

BREED SPECIALISTS

Nominees must satisfy ALL qualifications.

1. To have judged a minimum 50 Bearded Collies

2. To have bred or qualified one Bearded Collie or other breed for the Kennel Club Stud Book Entry.

3. To have attended a Breed Judging Seminar and passed an assessment where applicable.

4. To have owned and handled Bearded Collies for 7 years.

NON BREED SPECIALISTS

Nominees must satisfy ALL qualifications.

1. To have judged a minimum 50 Bearded Collies

2. To have bred or qualified one Bearded Collie or other breed for the Kennel Club Stud Book Entry.

3. To have attended a Breed Judging Seminar and passed an assessment where applicable.

4. To have been actively involved with any other breed for 7 years and to have already judged that breed.

Nominees will be aspirant judges who do not fall into any of the other categories,
and are approved by the North of England B
